The destinations for this afternoon are the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, the Vietnam Ethnology Museum which displays the cultural diversity of 54 Vietnamese ethnic minorities. Then, let’s head back to the center for a cyclo tour to enjoy views and bustling life of Hanoi Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son temple. After that, our guide will lead you to enjoy a performance of traditional Water Puppet Show – a unique art in Northern Vietnam.
✔ Our guide and driver intend to pick you up at 8:00 a.m at your hotel for a transfer to Halong bay. On the way to this UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, various rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and rice fields, water buffalo, and everyday Vietnamese village life will come into your sight. We will have 2 days and 1 night on the cruise. While the lunch with fresh seafood is served, the boat cruises the bay to give visitors chances of admiring the beautiful limestone seascape with Fighting cock, Dog Rock and Incense Burner islets. Remember to visit Surprise Grotto which attracts visitors by the majestic system of stalagmites and stalactites that has been existed thousands of years. After breakfast, continue our journey by heading to Bai Tu Long Bay – another area of the bay. You will have close-up views of spectacular limestone peaks. Enjoy the lunch (or brunch) on board before disembarking. The crew will arrive in Hanoi in the afternoon. Overnight in a hotel in Hanoi.
✔ Today, let’s head out for Ninh Binh – which takes about 2-hour driving from Hanoi. Ninh Binh is blessed with cultural sights and natural beauty. First, pay a visit to Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel – the ancient Royal Capital of Vietnam. Some aged temples have been built to commemorate Vietnamese Kings of Dinh and Le Dynasties. Then, take a move to the most favorite tourist attraction – Tam Coc – Bich Dong, which means “three caves”. The majestic limestone islets surrounded by golden rice fields mixing with the tranquil and poetic Bai Ngo river make up a wonderful and picturesque landscape.
