Later proceed to Kandy ( 1 ½ hrs ) Kandy was the capital of the Sinhala Kingdom which still retains its old world charm.Check in into the resort. Evening Witness the Perenendiya cultural show which culminates in several dance forms of the region.
✔ After breakfast , Proceed on a tour to Botanical garden which has a fabulous collection of the flora of the country and some imported species. Do not forget to take a walk on the hanging bridge, Then visit the Gem factory with a large collection of precious stones from Ruby to Diamond to Emerald.Later proceed to the Tooth of relic – also referred to as sleeping Buddha which is a sacred place .O/N in Kandy
✔ After breakfast , Check out and proceed to Nuwura Eliya, a hill station at 1900 metres above sea level ( 110 kms – 3 ½ hrs ) After check in , proceed on sight seeing to Pedro tea factory where we can get first hand information on the origin of Tea , Tea brewing and the benefits of Tea.Then proceed to Victoria park with its beautiful collection of roses. Bakers falls is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty fo the falls Haggela garden is a very important place for Hinduism as it has the SeethaTemple ( actually Hanuman Temple ).It is here that Ravana kept Seetha in captivity and was later discovered by Hanuman
✔ After breakfast , Check out and proceed to Colombo ( 150 kms – 4 hrs ) Do a city tour covering Independence Square – New Town Hall – Old Parliament – Museum - Fort – Galle face – Beach.
